BRISONS VEOR MAKEOVER FUND!!
Yes…although Brisons Veor has been a creative haven for over 500 professionals across Fine Art, Literature, Music & other disciplines…it’s time for us we need to raise a substantial amount to ensure that this coming January we can upgrade our premises. We need to equip this magical place to withstand the weather at the Cape and be both energy efficient and environmentally sound enabling us to continue to offer the substantially subsidised rates for residents and continue to expand the number of bursaries for those in need.

Update 14th January 2026
Our Trustee Katie Lennon met up with Clare Mackness (Hireth Architects) for an update on the first phase of the building project. There has been a huge amount of activity since the beginning of January 2026. The upstairs is currently one big open space, stripped right back to the shell of the building. The walls have been stripped right back to the granite and revealed some really interesting historical wooden sections and granite blocks, which must date back to the mining times. The builders are doing a great job and they are very tidy and respectful of the building.
