Fiona Wallace-Verlade, April 6 – 13th

I felt it was an extremely successful week. It had been a very long time (if at all) since I had a whole week to dedicate to my work. It was liberating and wonderful waking up, packing a rucksack and just walking off to sketch, paint, watch, think and be peaceful. I think we all are very conscious, especially women, of not putting enough time aside for ourselves and the busy everyday minutiae seems to take precedence. So for me it was being out as long as I needed without worrying about time and commitments. Being without any constraints.
