Andrew Hinton, April 13 – 27th

It was a most productive time. The distance from home and solitude allowed for a lot of safe experimentation. Some ideas failed but others were a great success. My small scale work I plan to continue now I’m back in London. It is rare for me to use colour beyond the range of earth pigments I collect and so I was thrilled with my day using wax and my two days using pastel.

The work in old postcard albums will be developed using the Thames foreshore at Convoys Wharf in Deptford as a subject and this work will form part of an exhibition in October 2019.
