It was a perfect space to begin new work that I’ve wanted to do for some time. It’s a large, continuing project and I made the perfect beginning to it, with some ‘sculptures’, drawings and also work made on the floor that now exists in photographs that I will have printed. I am showing some of the smaller pieces at North Bristol Arts Trail in November 2022, and at Hours Space in Bristol in June 2023 where I hope some of the work will sell.
I would like to run workshops where women can express in a creative way – writing, music or art.
I am hoping that it will give a voice to women who walk in wild places and a means of visual expression of that voice.
