URSULA LEACH – PAINTER – MAY RESIDENCY

The light was sharp and colours were very clear.  There was an abundance of bright yellow gorse. I was particularly focussing on buildings and have a wealth of material to work from, the ruined chapel and various farmsteads huddled in the fields.

I did masses of drawings of these and some small paintings and have ideas for several large paintings.

Also I could not resist some work to do with the edge between the land and sea as seen from the window of Brisons Veor.

Some work will be going to exhibitions in London, Bath, Dorset and Salisbury.

Everything worked well.  It really is the most wonderful place.  Thank you very much for providing such a haven and for all the hard work to make it so.
