The project went very well; we were able to go out and make photographs every day, in a variety of locations in the Penwith area. The original proposal was to build on two long term bodies of work concerned with beach and coast; one of the people using the coast and the other, photographing the textures, tones and details. The former is quick and spontaneous, the latter very slow and deliberate. In fact, we were also able to work on a new, third, set of photographs, using an infrared camera to record the dramatic seas and skies of the area.

I am intending to have a major solo exhibition in a year or two, inwhich this work will feature prominently. By then, the two main bodies of coastal photography will be quite substantial. I have a Bristol gallery in mind for this.
